Subscription

It’s that time of year again. Time to enroll…in the 2020-2021 Subscription Plan offered by White Sulphur Springs Emergency Medical Services, Inc. Subscription Plan members are eligible for emergency ambulance service to either Greenbrier Valley Medical Center or Lewis Gale Alleghany Regional Hospital, as conditions or circumstances permit. (Only emergency transportation is covered under this plan. Transportation to doctor appointments, scheduled admission, return transfers or inter facility transfers are not considered emergencies and are not covered under the plan.) A subscriber may use these services as many times necessary during the coverage period. If a Subscription Plan member has private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, these sources will be billed, however, under the Subscription Plan, the individual subscriber is not liable for any remaining balance.

The average cost of a transport to the emergency room is around $1000. Your tax deductible donation not only supports your local EMS agency but also prevents the Plan member from paying charges incurred by a transport to the emergency room. Funds raised through the subscription plan are used to offset the ever rising cost of supplies and equipment necessary to provide the high level of emergency medical care to the sick and injured. Please help White Sulphur Springs EMS by subscribing to this plan. All donations above the cost of the plan are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.
